Simple rules for using Raffi safely

1. Acceptance and eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to digital services. If you are under the age of legal majority, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms where required. You may use Raffi only in compliance with applicable law.

If you download Raffi from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Apple Media Services terms also apply. If these Terms conflict with mandatory App Store terms, the mandatory App Store terms control for that issue.

2. The Raffi service

Raffi is a posture and wellness companion that may provide:

• onboarding questions and a personalized posture profile;
• optional front and side posture scans with a derived posture score;
• guided neck, shoulder, upper-back, spine, posture, face, and relaxation movements;
• camera-assisted movement and hold validation, with guided timer alternatives where available;
• daily plans, reminders, streaks, progress summaries, and Live Activities;
• optional posture monitoring using supported AirPods motion sensors;
• optional Screen Time app shields that encourage a posture break;
• cloud synchronization across signed-in devices;
• free, trial, or paid Raffi Pro access as displayed in the app.

Scores, targets, movement detection, and progress estimates depend on device position, lighting, camera visibility, sensor availability, user input, and algorithms. They are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

3. Health and exercise safety

You are responsible for deciding whether Raffi’s activities are appropriate for you. Before starting, make sure you have enough space, a stable device position, and a safe environment. Move slowly and only within a comfortable range.

• Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, numbness, weakness, shortness of breath, unusual discomfort, or worsening symptoms.
• Do not use Raffi while driving, operating machinery, walking in an unsafe area, or doing anything that requires full attention.
• Do not rely on Raffi to assess an injury, medical condition, or emergency.
• Consult a qualified healthcare professional before using Raffi if you have an injury, diagnosed condition, recent surgery, balance problem, pregnancy-related concern, or uncertainty about exercise.

Choosing a health consideration during onboarding may cause Raffi to offer gentler content, but this is not professional clearance. No result or notification means that your posture is medically safe.

4. Accounts

Personalized and synchronized features require an account created with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for your account, your device security, and activities performed through your account. Do not impersonate another person, create accounts through automated means, or share access in a way that compromises security.

Tell us promptly if you believe your account is being used without permission. You can sign out at any time. You can permanently delete your Raffi account and associated Raffi cloud data from Settings → Delete account. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription; subscriptions must be managed separately through Apple.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Plans and free trials

Raffi may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and introductory trials. The available plan, trial eligibility, billing period, price, currency, and included features are shown before purchase. Apple determines trial eligibility. Unless cancelled, a trial converts to the paid plan shown at purchase.

Billing and renewal

Purchases are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account after confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Renewal timing, taxes, price-change notices, and billing rules are governed by Apple and the purchase screen shown to you.

Manage, cancel, restore, or request a refund

You can manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting Raffi or your Raffi account does not cancel billing. Use Restore Purchases in Raffi to restore an eligible purchase. Raffi cannot issue App Store refunds directly; refund requests are decided by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.

Changes

We may change plan features or prices. Apple will provide any notice or consent required for an auto-renewable subscription price change. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

6. Device permissions and optional features

Raffi may request camera, motion, notification, Live Activity, Sign in with Apple or Google, and Screen Time permissions. Granting these permissions is optional unless a specific feature cannot technically work without them. You can change permissions in iOS Settings.

Camera-based validation can fail if your face or body is outside the frame, the environment is dark, another person is visible, or the device is unsupported. Where Raffi offers a guided timer or manual confirmation, you are responsible for completing the movement honestly and safely.

Screen Time app shields are intended as a wellness prompt. Do not configure them in a way that could prevent access to essential, safety, medical, work, or emergency tools. Apple controls authorization and operating-system behavior, and Raffi cannot guarantee that a shield, notification, Live Activity, camera, or AirPods session will always run.

7. License and intellectual property

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to use Raffi on Apple devices you own or control for non-commercial wellness purposes.

Raffi’s software, character, name, wordmark, graphics, animations, layout, exercise presentation, text, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Raffi and protected by intellectual property laws. Except where law permits, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass protections, or create a competing product from Raffi or its content.

You retain ownership of information you provide. You grant us only the limited rights needed to host, synchronize, process, and display that information to operate Raffi.

8. Prohibited use

You must not:

• use Raffi unlawfully or to harm, threaten, exploit, or deceive anyone;
• attempt unauthorized access to accounts, APIs, databases, subscriptions, or protected features;
• interfere with Raffi, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple services, or another user’s access;
• submit malware, fraudulent purchase data, or false identity information;
• use automation to scrape, overload, probe, or circumvent limits or security;
• misrepresent Raffi’s posture estimates as medical certification or professional advice.

9. Third-party services

Raffi depends on services provided by Apple, Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, and RevenueCat. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party outages, platform policy changes, account restrictions, or data practices. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and do not imply responsibility for their content.

10. Availability and changes

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, device support, or the service. We may release algorithm updates that change plans, posture estimates, or movement validation. We do not promise that Raffi will always be available, uninterrupted, compatible with every device, or free from errors.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by a revised date and may be announced in the app or on the website. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAFFI IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR A PARTICULAR WELLNESS OUTCOME.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAFFI AND ITS OWNER, CONTRIBUTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL; OR INJURY OR LOSS ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON POSTURE ESTIMATES, EXERCISE GUIDANCE, NOTIFICATIONS, CAMERA VALIDATION, AIRPODS MONITORING, OR APP SHIELDS.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. Where a jurisdiction does not permit a stated limitation, the limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted there.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Raffi, sign out, or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, abused the service, or failed to pay for a paid entitlement. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law, and any accrued obligations survive termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to the courts of Bursa, Turkey, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Consumers in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other regions retain any mandatory protections provided by the law of their residence.
